The Master's Cycle is the first book written by Rook d'Bay. As it opens, it immediately sweeps you into worlds that are like our own, and completely different at the same time. It's magical and mysterious, sensual and imaginative, simultaneously. The characters pull you into the story and you find yourself wanting to know more I couldn't stop until I had read the whole book!. If you love the idea that there is more happening in your world than meets the eye, you'll love the Master's Cycle!
Book One of The Master's Cycle took me completely by surprise and kept me reading until the very end. The world Rook has built is at once strange and familiar, featuring multiple dimensions and an exciting magical system. The characters are relatable and there was just enough background detail to keep my mind engaged without slowing the pace of the book. I have limited time to devote to reading novels these days and being able to thoroughly explore the plot arc of this book without a month-long commitment made for a rewarding reading experience. I would highly recommend this novel to fans of fantasy and romance alike. I can hardly wait for the second installment!
