I really like this series. This story picks up where the last book left off with Courtney & Bobby. Courtney awakens from her coma but has decided that she is tired of chasing after Bobby, when he doesn't seem to love her as much as she loves him. Of course, while she was in the coma, Bobby has sorted out his feelings for Courtney and was ready to make a commitment to her.

They separate for while, but of course get back together. Against this love story, we see the Devil Chaser's MC join forces with another MC to take out the Black Diamonds, who are responsible for Courtney's car accident. Without giving it away, tragedy strikes and they lose one of their brothers.

The ending to the story has one of the sweetest, most romantic scenes ever. As always, I love the way L. Wilder develops her characters;,each couple is unique and made for each other. My four instead of five stars is because the book was TOO short and the ending too abrupt. Looking forward to reading the next book.

This book torn me up , it was so emotional. I cried , and laughed then cried some more. Courtney is wonderful , she is full of life, she is full of love and she loves Bobby. But when she is hurt , she thinks it is a sign a sign that she needs to move on with her life b/c Bobby doesn't seem to want her. Crack Nut Bobby can hack into anything, he is the man you do to when you need to know anything and everything. But when the love of his life is hurt he is lost, and the only thing he can do is wait. This was my FAVORITE book. I love it , it was just so amazing and emotional and so gut wrenching.

Wow...Courtney and Bobby's story was well worth the anticipation. Courtney woke from her accident confused on where their relationship should be. Bobby was more determined she wasn't going anywhere and what do whatever it took to protect her from anyone and anything out to harm, and she could think she was telling him goodbye he would give her time, but that was a no go! The club was facing a dangerous situation and he was not! Going to let anything come near her or his family again. This road traveled with this couple was amazing and I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants an amazing read by an amazing author.
I have to say that Consumed had a different feel then the first 3 A Devil Chaser's MC Romance books. I guess I had a certain picture of who Bobby was in my head because he was the quiet computer wiz. I don't think I actually picture him as sexually as I did with Bishop, Renegade, and Goliath. So when I read this story I felt it had more of a romance love story feel to it, not as sexy as the first 3 books. It not a bad thing, I quite enjoyed this book, the mystery of why Maverick was back (still wasn't answered really), the drama, the love. But the ending, OMG!!! I am in hot pursuit of reading the next book to find out what's going on!!! L Wilder you are a gem at story telling keep it up!!!
I have always liked Bobby's character, he may have acted like he didn't want a long term relationship with Courtney but all that changed when she was in a horrific accident. He thought he had lost her and the accident made Courtney do some soul searching. She wanted a commitment from Bobby and she was not going to give up. Then along comes all the twists and turns with a rival club that comes with a cost for one of the club brothers. I was so moved when Bobby surprised Courtney at the movies . I cried along with her, he did the sweetest thing for her. Now I cannot wait to see what happens for Sheppard.
Bobby and the Devil Chaser's both have to step up their game in this book. After Courtney wakes up she has an epiphany and realizes that she wants more from Bobby. Bobby realizes he waited to long to let her know how he feels so he begins to try to make things right. Needless to say, it does not always go smoothly. Was happy that Bobby finally proves that Courtney was his all along. The Devil Chaser's also still have an enemy on their tail and have to partner with a rival club to eliminate the threat. The story flowed well and combined both their personal and club lives seamlessly. The ending sets up the next book in the series and I can't wait to see what happens.
Where do I start this book it was that good it sucked me right in I really enjoyed the characters and thier development lets talk about bobby first he was sweet sexy I loved how deeply he felt for Courtney he wasn't willing to give up on her and was willing to fight for her no matter what oh Courtney she really had me feeling all Types of emotions I was happy sad she really is going through a lot in this book and It was really good to see her grow as a character and to read how she felt for bobby was beautiful I really enjoy L Wilder writing each book keeps getting better and better good job you will enjoy this book so don't think twice just one click it's wroth it ...
I just finished Consumed and I really liked it. I'm a biker girl so I'm gonna be all over it. This is apart of a series (Devils Chasers) so for me to get the full effect of the characters you should read them in order this is Bobby and Courtney's story. They were ready together and she was apart of the accident in Ignite and is now waking up from a coma. She feels like she is thinking clearly now for the first time and breaks it off with Bobby since he can't make up his mind about her. What she doesn't realize is that he had always wanted her but just wanted things special for her. He gives her space but they have to deal with the fallout with the Black Diamonds. The Devils Chasers are gonna need help from the local MC, Red Dragons to be able to get things back to normal and destroy the Black Diamonds.

I'm enjoying the series. Keeps getting better and better. Im digging the characters and can't wait to see what's next!
